The Future of the Future

Has anyone else noticed that our mythology of the future, and what is shaping up to be our actual future, are converging at an every increasing rate?

Allow me to demonstrate:

Teleportation
Invisibility cloaks
Androids
Bionics
Instant communication and access
Virtual reality

    Also, I forgot to add Bluetooth headsets. Honestly, every time I see someone wearing one, I get convinced that they’re a cyborg, sent from the future to save the present.
